What features are available with Andrew® Coach?
Andrew® Coach is a weekly planning tool that allows you to :
- prescribe exercises
- prescribe programs (exercise routines you have created)
- add free-form text and external links (PDFs, YouTube videos, Google Drive, etc.)
- add health-related content (*stress, anxiety, sleep, sedentary lifestyle, etc. *)
- prescribe exercises in cycles (circuits, supersets)
With Andrew® Coach, all of this programming is scalable, day by day, week by week, to best support the patient in their care.
This tool can be used within the framework of standard care or leveraged in non-standard care.
Andrew® Coach is Andrew®’s periodized planning module. While the standard prescription feature allows you to send a one-time program to a patient (a set of exercises for the coming days or the next session), Andrew® Coach enables you to build a structured program spanning several weeks or months, with planned progression, distinct phases, and a progressive load approach.
In practice, the practitioner organizes the program into successive blocks: mobilization, strengthening, return-to-sport, and return-to-athletics phases. Each week consists of sessions drawn from the Andrew® library (1,500+ videos).
The patient progresses through their program independently via the app, session by session. Andrew® Coach is recommended for all long-term care scenarios: post-injury return to sports, post-surgical rehabilitation, exercise reconditioning, physical conditioning, pregnancy and postpartum monitoring, and APA support.
It integrates natively with the rest of the Andrew® ecosystem: compliance tracking uploads data from each session (pain, RPE, exercises completed or skipped), Explorer capsules can be prescribed in parallel to address factors influencing recovery, and programs created with Andrew® Coach can be sold as monthly subscriptions via the subscriptions feature (available before summer 2026).
